Oral Patrick
After graduating from Vere Technical High School as Jamaica's national top student, Oral Patrick was featured in the Star and Gleaner newspaper. Shortly after graduation, he received full a scholarship to the University of The West Indies, completing a Bachelor of Science in the engineering and life science studies. After migrating to NYC, he worked in several tech companies before he started a cyber- security company, PICS. After 9/11, he also started a real estate investment company, ASB Homes LLC.
In the 1990s, he embarked on theological studies at the Church of Christ Bible Institute in NYC and served in different capacities from Sunday School Director to Youth Minister at churches in NY and NJ. In 2011, he accepted the call to embark on a new ministry to advance the kingdom and so the Word Of Wisdom (WOW) Church was born in Teaneck, NJ. As the Senior Pastor, he adopted the slogan "Motivation. Meditation. Musication." The goal of this ministry is to enhance the spiritual, emotional, and social aspects of the community, and to ultimately help make the world a better place.

He is happily married to his college sweetheart Angella. God has blessed them with four children, Elizabeth, Prince, Esther, and Deborah. They are all active in the ministry. Today, God is still giving them the grace to serve His people and to enable them to discover their ultimate purpose and be the best version of themselves.
In June 2022, Oral Patrick published his first book, Restorative Healing Begins with REST – Overcoming Breathing Difficulties and PTSD after 9/11 Exposure. He was terminated from his job one day before 9/11 and suffered physically, mentally, and spiritually after his experience in assisting with the search and rescue efforts the following days after the attack. This book chronicles his health recovery journey after being traumatized and exposed to the toxic smoke of the World Trade Center (WTC) towers on ground zero.

Deborah Patrick
|
Deborah Patrick, the youngest daughter of Oral Patrick and co-writer of the book is a health professional scholar who provided insight and research findings presented in the book. She is an incoming senior at Applied Technology High School on the Bergen Community College campus and devotes her time to many clubs and activities including National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society, and Health Occupations Students of America.
She also participates in the 2022 VISION Harvard Global Health Conferences: a dynamic conference that provided a great opportunity to network with global health professional industry leaders and conduct community projects. Her life goal is to help and educate others on the importance of health, rest, and self-care through the medical field.
